THE Clach manager Robbie Williamson yesterday billed today's trip to Fraserburgh as his club's biggest Highland League match in almost 30 years. The Lilywhites manager is seeking to capture the championship for the first time since 1975, when they sealed it in a midweek triumph at home to local rivals Inverness Thistle.

While Fraserburgh sit six points ahead of fourth-placed Clach, the Inverness side have four games in hand. Victory in Buchan would leave them requiring three wins and a draw from six matches to seal the championship. Williamson acknowledged: "I believe it is the biggest match I've been involved in as a manager. We will go there and be positive, because a victory would be so valuable to us. But there is a lot of football left and nothing will be settled this weekend. Fraserburgh have to play Inverurie home and away and I certainly wouldn't fancy that double-header."
