TWO gangland hitmen, who were handed record prison sentences following a cold-blooded murder, had their minimum jail terms cut by appeal judges yesterday.

Raymond Anderson, 49 and James McDonald, 37, had claimed that the 35-year terms imposed on them as part of their life sentences, the longest passed by a Scottish judge, were excessive.
