CAMPAIGNERS have won a five-year fight to save a long-term care ward from closure at Scotland's oldest hospice.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) has lifted a formal notice to close the 30-bed continuing care ward at St Margaret's Hospice in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, safeguarding around pound(s)1.2 million in annual funding.
