A CANADIAN backpacker fell to her death from the top of a hostel in Edinburgh city centre a month after management heard that people had been climbing out of a bedroom on to the building's flat roof.
The manager of the Backpackers Hostel in Cockburn Street, off the Royal Mile, told a fatal accident inquiry at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday the room was occupied by staff who were warned that anyone caught accessing the roof would be evicted immediately.See the full content of this document
