SIRHugh Collum was chairman of British Nuclear Fuels Ltd (BNFL)who sought to bring the communications skills of the nuclear industry into the 21st century. While he partially turned round the fortunes of BNFL, his critics used that success against him, deepening suspicion over the nuclear option for the country.
