Carl Huyser, now based in New Zealand, scored more than 700 runs for the Glasgow club last season including two centuries, while Tinus played for Poloc's southside rivals Weirs last term, but has opted to join his older sibling at Shawholm.
The pair also play together for the Christchurch side Burnside West and a Poloc spokesman said: "Carl had a good first year on the park but also made a big impression off it.
