England fast bowler Stuart Broad has been fined 50% of his match fee for "serious dissent" at an umpire's decision during the second one-day international against Sri Lanka on Friday.

Broad, England's Twenty20 captain, made "unacceptable and offensive remarks" after the Sri Lankan innings to umpire Billy Bowden over an lbw appeal, the International Cricket Council (ICC) said yesterday.
