SOME gamey, old familiars returned to radio this week, the roue of the autocue among them. In fact, before Des Lynam sold his anchor skills to television, it was radio which gave him legendary status. Now he's back in Des at Wimbledon (Radio 5 Live, Monday to Friday), seamlessly combining informed quips with the cavalier intimacy he wears like a club blazer.
