LET'S all doff our millinery to Lady Judy Steel, who gave herself a tattoo for her 70th birthday. Why her man, Lord Steel (David of that ilk), didn't pay for it isn't clear. Perhaps he just got her socks, as usual.

Whatever the case, we salute Lady Steel's chutzpath. She hasn't gone over the top, with a dragon down the length of her back or a picture of Mel Gibson with the word "Scotland" underneath it. She's gone for a tasteful, three-inch leopard, just as "a bit of fun".
