IT'S a shame that shame has negative connotations. But think of "shameless". Surely that's worse.

During the recent "UK" riots in Englandshire, the word "shameless" was often adduced to describe the hooded fellows out shopping unconventionally. The ascription referred also to the television series Shameless, which featured ne'er-do-wells well- versed in welfare culture.
