THE Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) says today in a policy statement that the Coalition Government should avoid taking any further action that would over-regulate UK businesses.

In its response to the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills' consultation, A Long-Term Focus for Corporate Britain, ICAS warns that UK businesses must be given a period of stability to adapt to new regulations before any further measures are introduced.
