BODY armour would not have saved the life of a Scots Territorial Army soldier fatally wounded in Iraq, an inquest was told yesterday.

Russell Beeston, 26, a married fusilier from Govan in Glasgow, had been serving in the 52nd Lowland Regiment attached to the 1st Battalion King's Own Scottish Borders.
