Summary
The Clowndoctors, a programme to boost the mental and emotional well-being of sick children, celebrates its fifth birthday this month with news that it is planning to expand. The performers have been successfully working with children in hospitals and hospices since 1999, assisting with their treatment and recovery through the use of participative arts activities including puppetry, storytelling, music, dancing, slapstick and role-playing.
