Summary
The public sector now employs nearly a quarter of Scotland's working population. New quarterly figures show 577,300 working for the state, compared to 1,890,700 in the private sector.
It is an increase of 9000 on the same quarter in 2004, while the private sector figure went up by 3000.See the full content of this document
