ACTOR and comedian Alan Davies has been forced to take a 25per cent pay cut for a new one-off episode of his BBC drama Jonathan Creek, The 43-year-old star, who found fame as an actor through the Bafta-winning detective series in the 1990s alongside Caroline Que ntin, complained that the licence fee-funded broadcaster was "driving down talent costs".
