A "VIOLENT thug" who led a bloody attack on parishioners at a church hall Hogmanay party was jailed for two years yesterday.

Vicious Colin Wallace assaulted church-goers with glass bottles and furniture and stabbed them with broken bottles after his friend was asked to leave the hall.
