THE judge assigned to preside over AWG's [GBP]130m claim against Sir Fraser Morrison and Stephen McBrierty was yesterday ordered to stand down by the Court of Appeal over concerns that he is too close to one of the utility group's main witnesses.
AWG, formerly Anglian Water, acquired Morrison Construction for [GBP]263m in 2000. It alleges that Sir Fraser, who ran the Edinburgh- based company, and McBrierty, his former chief operating officer, inflated the true value of the business.See the full content of this document
