IT may have been more than 250 years ago but Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill has been formally petitioned to overturn one of the most blatant miscarriages of justice in Scottish legal history - The Appin Murder.
A spokesman for Mr MacAskill confirmed that the submissions received this week from Glasgow solicitor John Macaulay would be considered.See the full content of this document
