THE eminent medical journal, The Lancet, last night said it should not have published a controversial study which started the scare over the MMR jab and its reported link to autism.
The publication in 1998 of the study by Dr Andrew Wakefield and colleagues at London's Royal Free Hospital continues to cause a reduced take-up of the combined measles, mumps rubella vaccine.See the full content of this document
