THERE'S an increasing sense of momentum in the summer concert season. The SCO, already powering through a summer-long set of tours, awaits the arrival of its new principal conductor, Robin Ticciati, who will launch the orchestra's second full Highlands tour, while the RSNO, with its music director Stephane Deneve, is limbering up for its debut appearance at the St Magnus Festival in Orkney.
