MAY I point out, gently, to Brian Quail (August 1) that I am, in fact, quite well aware that "Hogwarts does not exist" - although I am afraid that his most inconsiderate revelation of this fact may have shattered the illusions of many now distressed younger readers.
Perhaps The Herald should be wary of printing any of Mr Quail's letters in the run-up to Christmas, or at least request that he remains in his own cage at that time - if it has stopped rattling from the past couple of days.See the full content of this document
