Summary
THE second album from trio of Wilco chaps Glenn Kotche and Jeff Tweedy with the ubiquitous Jim O'Rourke is almost entirely unlike the first and is a further tribute to the continuing musical fertility of the city of Chicago. While the textural approach of O'Rourke was to the fore last time, here the taste for melody and song structures of Wilco dominates.
The range of soundscapes, however, is much wider with flavours of prog-rock, everyone's favourite influence Big Star, and even a nod towards The Kinks.See the full content of this document
