A Scotland-based charity working to stop the serious decline in the country's bumblebee population has been awarded a pound(s)340,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The money will help fund an ambitious project by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust (BBCT), based at Stirling University, to conserve a variety of endangered bumblebee species and their habitats in the UK.
