PLANS by Loyalist marchers to parade in opposite directions in the vicinity of Celtic Park on a match day have put the organisers on to a collision course with the police and city council which could see the events effectively banned.

The Royal Black Institution, an elitist cousin of the Orange Order, intends to stage simultaneous processions along Duke Street in Glasgow's east end on Saturday, August 13, less than half-an- hour after the final whistle in a tie between Celtic and Dundee United.
