Wales 23 Scotland 10 Even before proceedings got underway Scotland looked rather dishevelled at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday. The current strips with those water wing-style white arm bands now seem particularly appropriate when worn by youngsters who will struggle to stay afloat in the shark tank that is the RBS Six Nations Championship.

They nearly drowned in the opening quarter as some abject defending allowed Wales to get an early grip of proceedings.
