THE first minister yesterday stepped into the growing row over Scotland's first national park, condemning attempts to divert jet skis to Loch Lomond after a speed limit was enforced in the Lake District.

Jack McConnell said he "absolutely condemned" adverts encouraging jet skiers to move north of the border once they are forced off Lake Windermere by a 10mph limit next March.
