ALEX McLeish, the Rangers manager, has claimed Richie Foran, the Motherwell striker, should have been sent off in Sunday's match between the sides at Fir Park. In the end, it was Barry Ferguson who received a second yellow card after reacting angrily to the Irishman's tackle from behind.

McLeish claimed his player had actually showed restraint in not reacting more fiercely during a match his side eventually won 3-2.
