Older schoolchildren in Scotland are to be offered the chance of receiving two doses of the MMR vaccine if they have not already, amid fears a potentially deadly measles outbreak could arrive from western Europe.

Scotland's biggest health board, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC), will send letters this week to pupils in the secondary two to six year groups who did not complete the two-step MMR vaccination programme first time around.
