The new national Money Advice Service was launched in Scotland yesterday, with face-to-face advisers in 13 areas backing up an interactive website and a TV campaign.
The pound(s)43m-a-year service, funded by the Financial Services Authority through a levy on the industry, is the outcome of the Thoresen review.
