A MORTGAGE broker who stole GBP300,000 of cash from clients - including vulnerable pensioners - was jailed for nearly three years yesterday Alexander Milne, 54, took cash from dozens of customers, promising them big returns on their money if they invested cash in secondhand mortgage endowment policies.

The former car salesman, from Macduff, persuaded Banff residents to invest in his business, Norland Financial Services, and guaranteed them a quick turnaround in cash.
