POINT TAKEN: Andrew Murray enjoys his first taste of victory in a senior game at Wimbledon, beating George Bastl, from Switzerland, in straight sets. The 18year-old from Dunblane then had to be escorted by security guards through a large crowd of wellwishers. He beat Bastl 6-4 6-2 6-2. Tim Henman took five sets to beat Jarkk Nieminen of Finland.
Bastl knocked Pete Sampras out in 2002, and Murray revealed: "He's maybe 200 places higher than me in the rankings and he's won against Sampras here, so I wasn't expecting to do so well."See the full content of this document
