DAVID Murray, the Rangers chairman, is to convert a nursing home into flats at a cost of pounds-4m. He bought Lynedoch Nursing Home, in Bearsden, for pounds-2.1m after it closed last year.

He has been given the goahead to transform the Victorian mansion, a B-listed building, into 23 flats, expected to sell for more than pounds-150,000.
