IT has been a drawn-out process, but the Aidan O'Brien Derby arrangements have finally been settled. Johnny Murtagh, deprived because of injury to the horse he believed would win the Investec Derby on Saturday, St Nicholas Abbey, has elected to ride Jan Vermeer at Epsom.
He will also partner Cape Blanco in the French Derby, the Prix du Jockey Club, at Chantilly on Sunday. The unbeaten Cape Blanco, winner of the Dante Stakes, will be joined in the Prix du Jockey Club by Viscount Nelson, who will be ridden by Colm O'Donoghue.See the full content of this document
