A SCOTTISH businessman has bought an (pounds) 18m replica of Britain being built off the coast of Dubai and plans to build a mock Scottish baronial castle on it, it was reported yesterday.

The island is part of a jigsaw of 300 artificial private islands being built in the Gulf which together form a nation-by-nation replica of a map of the world.
