Martin O'Neill was guarded last night over whether he would be continuing his interest in trialist Charles-Edouard Coridon. The Lens midfielder failed to make a significant impact in the 2-0 friendly win over Tottenham at Parkhead and was overshadowed by goalscorers Craig Beattie and Henri Camara.

The Celtic manager said: "I think he did okay tonight. He wants to win a contract but it's difficult to make an assessment after 90 minutes."
