A GLASGOW nightclub popular with Premier League footballers and owned by licensed trade tycoon James Mortimer is to be monitored for a month before a decision is taken on whether to overturn a ban on it admitting under-21s.

Karbon, in Buchanan Street, was shut for a month and had its age limit raised after 200-plus incidents at the venue in a year, including 57 violent assaults.
