A GROUP of disgruntled small shareholders, who claim collectively to hold around 5% of NMT, are today poised to descend upon the West Lothian headquarters of the troubled former syringe maker to demand answers on the company's plunging performance.

NMT, which last month announced plans to quit all manufacturing of its safety syringes and transform itself into a licensing company, was once one of Scotland's greatest biotechnology hopefuls - but has since crumbled to the status of a limping penny share operation.
