A PRIVATE nursing home at the centre of a police investigation following the death of a pensioner last month has been the subject of a series of complaints over the past two years.

The Care Commission confirmed yesterday that seven complaints had been made and said it had instructed the Ashley Court care establishment in Morningside, Edinburgh, to carry out improvements after inquiries into the death of Isabella McGregor, 92.
