Fancy a look around other people's gardens? Or looking for ideas and tips on how to make your own garden grow? Each week, we bring you some of the gardens open to the public under Scotland's Gardens Scheme. More than 350 gardens are set to open for one or more days as part of the scheme, which also raises funds for charity. For more information about SGS visit www.gardensofscotland.org The following are open this weekend:

Benmore Botanic Garden, Dunoon What: This garden is world-famous for its collection of conifers and extensive range of flowering trees and shrubs. Take a walk through the formal garden set in hillside woodlands, and marvel at the dramatic viewpoint overlooking the Eachaig Valley and the Holy Loch.
