HUNDREDS of thousands of protesters in the streets of Ukraine claimed victory last night after the country's supreme court ordered a re-run of the disputed presidential election.

After five days of deliberation, the judges ruled invalid the poll won by Viktor Yanukovich, prime minister, and set December 26 for a "repeat vote".
