AN osprey believed to be the oldest breeding female of its kind has astonished experts by returning for the 20th time to a Scottish wildlife reserve.

The bird was spotted by staff from the Scottish Wildlife Trust landing on her usual nesting site at Loch of the Lowes, near Dunkeld, on Tuesday afternoon.
