THERE'S a great scene in Toy Story 2 when Woody and Buzz Lightyear are whizzing about on mechanical airport carousels searching for a lost toy. Shunted between giant metal aisles high above the ground, they scurry about amongst stuffed suitcases, trying to save the day.

The maze of moving rubber belts they're travelling on adds a sense of drama - and at times comedy - to the whole scenario. One minute Woody and Buzz are going left, the next they've been turned around and are now travelling in the opposite direction.
