CALLS have been made to Holyrood for a full parliamentary inquiry after it emerged that two cows carrying cloned DNA had entered the UK food chain.

One of the bulls was reared at a farm in Auldearn, near Nairn, and slaughtered at an abattoir in the central belt, where it most likely was used in the manufacture of ready meals.
