STEVEN PRESSLEY last night brought to an end speculation over his future by agreeing a two-year deal with Hearts.

The club captain signed an extended deal in March but was unhappy with numerous clauses in that contract. His concern was heightened when the SPL introduced a nonmandatory clause which the club wanted to insert into his contract. This raised the possibility of him being sacked if he was injured for more than six months.
