PRINCE Philip met actress Dawn Steele as he hosted a ceremony for people who have gained a Duke of Edinburgh gold award.
The Prince founded the charity in 1956 for youngsters who wanted to challenge their physical fitness and carry out voluntary work. Young people who gained the charity's highest achievement gathered at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh yesterday to receive their gold awards.
