A PROSTITUTE and her boyfriend were each jailed for life yesterday for murdering a man on his way home from a night out in Glasgow last year. Amy Stewart and John Hopkinson abandoned their victim, Allan Lennox, 21, to bleed to death and immediately went off to buy heroin to feed their habits with his wages after he was stabbed during a robbery in the east end of the city.
Lord Abernethy told them at the High Court in Edinburgh: "What you did in this murder can only be described as cruel and callous. It was a situation which led to the totally unnecessary loss of life of a young man of great promise."See the full content of this document
