ONE-fifth of teachers from nursery, primary and secondary state schools reported suffering physical assault from pupils in a new survey.

The National Association of Schoolmasters/Union of Women Teachers (NASUWT) claims that children are out of control and blames bad parenting for what it describes as the "shocking increase in indiscipline, in assaults, and in mayhem spreading throughout our state school system".
