POLITICIANS and campaigners for rape victims have reacted angrily after appeal judges halved the minimum sentence to be served by a "sickening and evil" rapist.
Rape Crisis Scotland was joined by all the main opposition parties in criticising the decision to reduce the sentence being served by Robert Foye, 32, who raped a schoolgirl in woods in North Lanarkshire in 2007.
