A rare wild eagle owl has been found dead in the Borders.
Police launched an investigation after the bird, thought to be the only wild eagle owl north of the border, was found on the Barns Estate at Kirkton Manor, Peeblesshire - where more than 20 protected birds of prey were found dead two years ago in Scotland's worst case of bird poisoning.See the full content of this document
