THE high-earning chief executive of bailed-out Royal Bank of Scotland has revealed that even his mother thinks he is paid too much.

Stephen Hester is poised to earn about GBP10 million if he turns around the fortunes of RBS, which was saved from collapse during last year's banking crisis by a GBP20 billion Government bail-out.
